Duties Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembly to support kitchen operations Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service Organize and store clean items in designated areas to promote efficient workflow Follow strict food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper bussing during service hours Skills Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation standards, and cleaning procedures Experience with bussing tables and supporting food service operations in restaurants or hospitality environments Familiarity with food preparation, cooking basics, and kitchen workflows Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for supporting large-scale events Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and guests Knowledge of hotel or restaurant experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse settings This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop culinary skills and grow within the hospitality industry.
