Duties Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and food prep areas to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff Support catering, banquet, and restaurant service by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring timely setup of food stations Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Contribute to overall kitchen organization by cleaning workstations, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste appropriately Assist in food prep for daily service as well as special events or large-scale catering functions Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent guest service experiences Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of basic food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Experience with bussing tables, food prep, or catering is a plus; banquet experience is highly valued Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues in a fast-paced setting Basic culinary skills such as cooking or food preparation are advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Previous hotel or restaurant experience can enhance your application but is not required Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry by joining us as a Dishwasher/Food Prep team member!
