In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and efficient food preparation. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and culinary support will contribute to a vibrant, welcoming environment that keeps everything running smoothly from prep to service. Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients for service. Support catering and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area by following proper food handling and safety procedures. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a tidy environment for guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and smooth operational flow. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in the restaurant or hotel setting. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential. Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks such as chopping, plating, or basic cooking is advantageous. Banquet or hotel experience can be a plus, demonstrating ability to work in fast-paced settings with large groups. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are important for success in this role. Prior experience in bussing or serving enhances your ability to support overall guest satisfaction.
