You will be responsible for ensuring all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use, supporting the overall flow of food service operations. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and drying areas. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup to support kitchen staff as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety compliance. Keep the work area organized, restock supplies as needed, and dispose of waste responsibly. Collaborate with kitchen and barista staff and to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not necessary; familiarity with kitchen routines enhances your effectiveness. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and food handling safety protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently. Experience with bussing tables.
