Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure availability for food service. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas, adhering to health and safety standards. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are ready for service. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold sanitation and safety regulations at all times. Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to promote a hygienic environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards. Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately. Familiarity with catering or banquet setups is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining work areas. Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers. Prior hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
