Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are spotless and ready for use. Busing tables during service periods to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment. Follow food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations, including cleanup after meal periods. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support various roles within the kitchen and dining areas. Willingness to assist with food preparation, serving, bussing, and other hospitality tasks as needed. Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
