Job Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, and utensils at the country club. This role supports the kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly sanitized and stored Remove trash and recycling, keeping waste areas clean Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed (e.g., peeling, portioning, stocking) Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Support kitchen staff during busy service periods
Qualifications:
No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred Previous dishwashing in commercial kitchen with 3 compartment sink Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 10lbs Team-oriented with a positive attitude Weekend availability 2pm-9pm Vehicle needed the facility is not on a bus line

$15.00 per hour
