Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in cleaning and hospitality operations within a welcoming setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests. Help with basic catering and banquet setups by organizing service ware and ensuring timely delivery of clean items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods. Schedule Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. This role also requires availability for occasional events (approximately 5 hours per event), with a few events scheduled each month. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling, cleaning protocols, and basic kitchen operations is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team.
