Job Description

Lagomarcino's is a family-owned old fashioned soda fountain and candy shop in Moline, Illinois and Davenport, Iowa. We are looking for someone to join our team at our Davenport location.
Core Responsibilities Dishwashing Operations:
Scrape, rinse, and dishes, glassware, and flatware and hand-wash all dishes
Sanitation:
Maintain perfect hygiene in the dish pit, including managing water temperatures and chemical sanitizer levels to meet health codes.
Restocking:
Promptly sort and put away clean dishes, pans, and utensils so Front of the House and Candy Kitchen have the tools they need.
Kitchen Maintenance and Dishroom:
Empty trash receptacles, break down cardboard boxes, sweep/mop floors, and wipe down surfaces.
Team Support:
Assist candy staff with prep and running candy when necessary. Bus tables in the front of the house. Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications Physical Stamina :
Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts, work in hot/loud environments, and lift or carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
Time Management :
Must be able to work quickly and prioritize tasks without compromising cleanliness.
Teamwork :
Strong communication and willingness to assist the back and front of the house to provide smooth service.
Reliability :
Punctual and capable of working a varied schedule, which often includes weekends. Strong worker ethic Safety focus Passion for cleanliness and hygiene Diligence Teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to read and understand written instructions and safety procedures Efficiency Customer service Planning, organization, and multi-tasking skills Self-motivated with a high energy level Verbal communication skills
Flexibility Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or GED a plus Hospitality industry, especially kitchen experience a plus
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour
