In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, utensils, and dining equipment, supporting the culinary team to operate smoothly and efficiently. LGBTQIA+ inclusive company. The shifts are from 5pm-10pm, Monday-Friday, and 2pm-5pm or 5pm-10pm on Saturday. 2-3 shifts per week, Monday-Saturday. This is a great part-time job for students. Opportunity to move up within the company as you learn. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Ensure all dishware and utensils are stored properly and ready for use during service hours. Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to uphold a clean, organized workspace that promotes efficiency and safety. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or boxes of dishware. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting busy kitchen operations. Willingness to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health regulations.
