Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet the highest food safety standards. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently and safely. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items are hygienic and ready for use. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including handling ingredients and organizing supplies. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes while adhering to proper ergonomic practices. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dish racks, sinks, and kitchen surfaces. Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by adhering to kitchen health and safety standards at all times. Requirements Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety management practices. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual handling tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment. Excellent attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting the overall kitchen operations.
