Busser/Dishwasher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist in bussing tables by clearing used dishes and utensils promptly to ensure a tidy dining environment. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate the flow of service. Support catering events by preparing and cleaning up food service areas as needed. Follow food handling safety protocols to maintain hygiene standards. Assist with inventory management by organizing kitchen supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Requirements Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items up to 25 pounds.
