Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Busser and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. This energetic position ensures that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service, while also supporting the front-of-house team by bussing tables and assisting with food service operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff in maintaining smooth service flow Clear and bus tables promptly to ensure a clean dining area and quick turnaround for incoming guests Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays or boxes of supplies while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques Support sanitation efforts by cleaning workstations, floors, and dining areas regularly to uphold restaurant hygiene standards Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality during food service operations Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and kitchen health standards Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Basic knife skills or familiarity with operating kitchen equipment is a plus but not required Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues Strong attention to detail in cleaning, organization, and adhering to safety protocols Previous experience in catering, banquet service, hotel hospitality or culinary settings is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your culinary knowledge, and ready to contribute to an energetic team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
