We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. You must have availability on nights & weekends as well as some shifts during the day. We are closed Monday & Tuesday. Open Wed-Sunday. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Assist in bussing tables by clearing dirty dishes and utensils promptly. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and assembling of dishes. Help with banquet setups and breakdowns for special events or catering services. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene. Skills Experience in bussing and cleaning within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Familiarity with banquet service protocols and catering operations is a plus. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Basic cooking skills are beneficial for assisting in food preparation tasks. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is advantageous. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
