Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including sinks, counters, and floors, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling basic ingredients when needed. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for use. Manage waste disposal properly by separating recyclables and disposing of trash according to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours. Follow all food handling safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working in food service, restaurant kitchens, catering events, or hotel environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings. Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving is a plus.
