Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients to support culinary staff. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and managing waste disposal. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Busing tables during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of food service operations. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for all service needs. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Experience with food handling or catering operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for thriving in our energetic environment.
