• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of food items in designated areas.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils. ```Skills```
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience in meal preparation, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting.
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to menu specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team.
• Familiarity with menu planning and understanding of dietary restrictions.
• Understanding of kitchen operations and equipment used in food preparation.
• Previous experience as a dietary aide or working in a dietary department is a plus.
