You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This energetic position offers an opportunity to support culinary operations in a fast-paced setting, contributing to a seamless dining experience for guests. Your dedication helps create a welcoming atmosphere where excellent service and cleanliness go hand in hand. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing services to meet event schedules. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards. Keep the kitchen area tidy by disposing of waste properly and ensuring storage areas are organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff. Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of hospitality or hotel operations can be advantageous for understanding guest-focused service standards.
