Job Overview Join our team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This energetic position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about supporting food service operations. Your dedication to cleanliness and safety will ensure our kitchen runs smoothly, allowing chefs and staff to focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is a full time position that requires you to work 40 hours per week and have open availability, especially on weekends. Duties Efficiently clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the food handling process by ensuring proper storage and disposal of waste in accordance with sanitation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and boxes with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain high standards of sanitation by adhering to kitchen health and safety standards at all times Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with food safety management principles and sanitation procedures is advantageous. Basic knife skills or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food prep tasks.
