This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. The position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced setting, supporting kitchen operations and ensuring a positive guest experience. Prior restaurant, catering, or hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn. This is a paid position suitable for those interested in developing culinary and hospitality skills. Duties Responsible for washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks such as preparing meat, eggs. Help with basic food handling and safety procedures during meal service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas Follow all food safety regulations and proper sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks is advantageous Experience with bussing, cleaning, or general kitchen operations will be considered a plus Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in the culinary or hospitality industry while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.
Dishwasher / Food
Prep Responsibilities These tasks may not need to be completed every day, but they are part of the overall responsibilities of the Dishwasher / Food Prep position. Priority 1: During Service These tasks should be handled first, especially during busy periods: Wash and clean dishes, bowls, utensils, pots, and pans. Keep the dishwashing and food prep areas clean, organized, and safe. Clean soup pots left from the previous shift when they could not be cleaned earlier. (1 hour) Support the kitchen with urgent prep needs as requested. Priority 2: Food Prep These tasks should be completed when needed and when the main service responsibilities are under control: Use the meat slicer to slice meat for the Ramen Topping station. (2 hours) Prepare marinade sauce for Ajitama eggs. (30 minutes) Prepare Chashu marinade sauce. (45 minutes) Cook and peel Ajitama (soft-boiled eggs). (3.5 hours) Priority 3: Cleaning and Organization These tasks should be completed during available downtime or as scheduled: Sweep, clean, and help maintain the walk-in cooler. Help receive, organize, and put away deliveries. Complete additional cleaning and organization around the dishwashing and prep areas as needed. Throw the large bin trash. Employees are expected to use good judgment and help with these responsibilities without needing to be reminded each time. During busy service, dishes and immediate kitchen needs come first. Prep, deeper cleaning, and organization should be completed when time allows.
Pay:
