Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash pots, pans, and utensils as needed. Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including cutting boards, mixers, and ovens. Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Support catering events by ensuring that all service items are clean and ready for use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes to the cooking area. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Participate in the organization of storage areas for clean dishes and kitchen supplies. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn new skills related to catering, food preparation, and culinary tasks. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent hospitality services.
