Location:
SolBe Canopy School and SolBe Nursery School (Boston/Chestnut Hill) — this role travels between both Must have : a car you can use for short local food deliveries, and open availability within the 7am-5pm window Nice to have: Food Handler's Card (SolBe can help you get one if you don't already have it) and prior kitchen/dishwashing experience About the role SolBe Canopy Kitchen is looking for a hands-on, reliable Prep Cook + Dishwasher to support meal service for our students and staff. You'll keep the kitchen clean and organized, help prep and pack meals, and drive food safely between our two campuses — a great fit for someone who takes pride in a well-run kitchen and enjoys being part of a small, close-knit team. What you'll do Wash and store all cutlery, plateware, tools, and cookware per kitchen and health-code standards Assist with meal prep and logistics for students, staff, and SolBe events Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized; follow food-safety and allergen protocols Help receive and store food and kitchen supplies Pack, label, and deliver meals between SolBe Canopy and SolBe Nursery School, and log delivery temperatures Communicate with the SolBe team on meal plans and distribution What we're looking for Reliable transportation and comfort with brief local driving as part of the shift Available within the 7am-5pm window, Monday-Friday, consistently for the length of the assignment Comfortable following food-safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures Comfortable being around young children during the workday A team player who takes ownership of tasks without close supervision How to apply In your application, include one line about your availability for the next few weeks — we read every application and this helps us get back to serious candidates faster.
Pay:
