Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup under supervision. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service operations. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas as needed to support overall sanitation efforts. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Familiarity with basic food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to commercial kitchens or hospitality settings is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
