This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, with experience in food preparation and a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization. You will play a vital role in both cooking delicious meals and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed diligently. Help with banquet and catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of service. Buss tables and assist with dining room cleanliness during peak hours. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Skills Experience in a restaurant or culinary environment preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A proactive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen as needed. Familiarity with banquet service and catering operations is a plus. Capability to clean effectively and maintain organization within the kitchen space.
