Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to uphold hygiene standards. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient organization under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring all items are ready for events. Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for meal service. Skills Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic food handling, kitchen safety practices, and sanitation procedures. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support multiple departments including bussing, food prep, and catering.
