, 11-2pm Brasa Restaurant 3303 Coastal Highway Ocean City MD Duties Thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Ensure all food handling areas are kept hygienic and organized in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas Operate commercial dishwashers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, or supplies safely while adhering to ergonomic practices Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards in commercial kitchens Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, or food prep tools is a plus Excellent attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Join us as a Dishwasher and become an integral part of creating memorable dining experiences!
