Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of food service operations. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety compliance. Contribute to overall restaurant or hotel cleanliness by assisting with general cleaning duties as assigned. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables or supporting food preparation tasks. Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Exposure to banquet or large-scale catering events is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and guests.
