Role:

We are seeking a motivated Steward to join our team! As a Steward at Stratosphere Social, you will play a crucial role in contributing to an exceptional dining experience by ensuring that all cooking utensils, dishes, and serveware are cleaned and properly maintained. You will also assist in keeping work areas and restaurant equipment clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash pots, pans, and trays, and polish silver. Segregate and remove trash, placing it in designated containers. Sweep and mop floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift. Walk the floors and pick up any room service/bar trays. Maintain temperature logs; keep the walk-in cooler/freezer organized. Bus tables and assist in maintaining a clean dining area. Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food.

Qualifications:

Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred. Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects. Able to stand for extended periods. Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
