Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
• Sweep or scrub floors
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
• Assist kitchen staff with various tasks as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards

Skills:

• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
