• Part-time, Full-time Happy's is a taco shop based out of Boyne City, MI.

We make creative tacos and other goods with local ingredients that we thoughtfully prepare. We work closely with local farms and most of our ingredients come from Michigan. Everything that goes on our tacos is made by us, including our hot sauces. Although our food seems casual, a ton of work goes into each menu item. We started as a single food truck back in 2013. Since then, we've grown to include a prep kitchen, two food trucks, a.converted shipping container, and a brick and mortar restaurant. We've done pop-ups and dinners across Northern Michigan, including with The Little Fleet, American Spoon, The Cooks' House, local farms, and Beards Brewery. At Happy's we hold our employees to high standards of cleanliness, consistency, and customer service. We put a lot of effort into sourcing and preparing ingredients, and it is important to us that our food reflects that. Our employees have the opportunity to learn as much from us as they want about operating a mobile establishment/fast casual restaurant. This includes sourcing, ordering, food preparation, day-to-day operations, and more. Our prep kitchen in Boyne City, MI is where everything starts, and is something that differentiates Happy's from many other food trucks. Here, we make all our sauces and kimchi, cure and braise meats, smoke vegetables, ferment peppers for hot sauces, and get all other mis en place prepared for our locations. Dishwasher
