Dishwasher / Kitchen UtilityJob Description At M Cantina, the dishwasher position is not a passive role—it is a critical part of maintaining the speed, cleanliness, organization, and overall success of the kitchen. This role supports both BOH operations and service flow by maintaining sanitation standards, organization, and kitchen readiness throughout the entire shift. Dishwashers are expected to move with urgency, maintain awareness, and contribute wherever support is needed. We are seeking dedicated, organized individuals who work well under pressure, take pride in cleanliness, and thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment. Core Responsibilities Maintain a constant flow of clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment Keep all dish areas clean, organized, and functioning efficiently throughout service Properly clean, sanitize, dry, organize, and store all kitchen equipment and dishware Assist in preparing the kitchen for service and resetting for the following shift Clean and maintain kitchen machines and appliances including mixers, coffee machines, prep equipment, and more Support kitchen operations by unloading and properly storing deliveries Maintain clean and safe floors throughout the shift, including immediate cleanup of spills or broken items Empty, clean, and sanitize trash receptacles regularly Assist BOH staff with supportive tasks and light prep work as needed Help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at all times Standards & Expectations Move with urgency and maintain productivity throughout the shift Maintain a clean-as-you-go mindset at all times Work as part of a team and support the overall flow of kitchen operations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Maintain professionalism, communication, and awareness in a fast-paced environment "Time to lean = time to clean" mentality is expected Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent time management and organizational ability Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment Ability to stand for long periods, lift at least 20 pounds, and climb stairs as needed Willingness to follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Full-time Base Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
