Job Description

Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment that supports efficient food production and exceptional guest experiences. Working under the direction of the Kitchen Lead and Kitchen Manager, this position ensures all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company and food safety standards. The Dishwasher also assists with kitchen organization, food preparation, stocking, and opening and closing duties to help the kitchen operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, team-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety in a fast-paced environment.
Performance Standards:
The Dishwasher will: Clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and food safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized dish area, storage areas, and workstation while ensuring clean supplies are readily available to support kitchen operations. Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, stocking, product rotation, deliveries, and other duties that contribute to efficient daily operations. Complete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning responsibilities while maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas. Must be able to work nights and weekends Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook. Maintain a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts on time; follow company time off and illness procedures. Meet all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the employee handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to work well in a team Must be able to work nights and weekends Must be 18 or older
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work in the facility maintenance area, and in the kitchen, where high levels of heat and activity can be expected and where there is frequent exposure to knives, oil, and hot surfaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Personal protective equipment will be provided by owners.
