Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation. This position is essential in supporting our restaurant or catering services, where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are available for service. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to following health and safety guidelines. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
