Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are washed and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to maintain an orderly workspace. Support the kitchen team with bussing tables and assisting with catering events when required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Skills Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety protocols is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. Required Nights/Weekend. Normal business hours are between 10a and 10p.
