Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our culinary operations and contributes to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. Dispose of waste properly and ensure that recycling protocols are followed. Maintain an organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly after cleaning. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary. Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus.
