Job Description

The Lutheran Home is seeking a reliable Part-Time Day Dishwasher to join our Dining Services team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting the daily operations of our healthcare community. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Wash dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher Store away cooking equipment, utensils, and dishes in the designated storage areas Clean and sanitize tables and work surfaces Sort and remove trash, placing it in the designated pickup area Help to keep the kitchen area clean and in safe working condition Sweep or mop floors Perform necessary tasks to help us meet the needs of our residents specifically their diet and food preferences
Schedule:
This part-time position typically works three shifts per week, from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Qualifications:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team Able to follow food safety and sanitation procedures Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds Previous dishwashing or food service experience preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred About the
