Responsibilities:

Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.

Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.

Stocks stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary inventory, dishes, and utensils.

Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.

Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.

May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.

Complete daily and periodic cleaning assignmentsMaintain a clean and organized environment. Follow state and county sanitation regulationsPerform tasks using appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety standardsReport all issues found that relate to patient care, safety, and sanitation to appropriate authority and direct supervisorPerforms other duties as assigned

Current Clay County food handler's permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire. Ability to utilize computer programs for email, reporting, and patient care. Ability to work in uncomfortable conditions (hot or cold). Ability to lift, pull, or push 50lbs without assistance.
