In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and food preparation areas. Your efforts will support food safety standards, streamline kitchen operations, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in compliance with sanitation standards Properly handle and dispose of waste and recyclables to uphold health regulations Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy during service hours Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen health standards is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the overall restaurant operation Basic knife skills or food handling experience are advantageous for supporting food prep tasks Join us as a Dishwasher and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
