The Dishwasher role is to support the successful operation of the Q39 kitchen by maintaining clean and sanitized dishware, utensils, and equipment. Ensure a steady flow of kitchen essentials, uphold cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe, organized, and team-focused kitchen environment.
Key Accountabilities:
Dish & Utensil Cleanliness
  • Ensure all plates, utensils, pans, and smallware's are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and returned to service in a timely manner. Equipment Operation & Care
  • Safely operate dish machine, and cleaning equipment while following proper chemical handling procedures. Kitchen Support
  • Assist HOH by providing clean pans, utensils, and trays quickly to keep service flowing, especially during peak hours. Organization & Storage
  • Maintain order in dish area, properly stacking clean wares and organizing storage areas for efficiency and safety. Waste Management, Sanitation & Safety Standards
  • Empty trash as needed and maintain cleanliness of waste stations. Follow health code and restaurant guidelines for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping work areas free of hazards. End-of-Shift Duties
  • Complete final breakdown, cleaning, and sanitizing of dish station, floors, and equipment to set up for the next shift.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred. Strong work ethic and reliability in fast-paced environments. Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
