Job Description

Dishwasher - Part-time Osage View Restaurant is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our fast-paced team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by ensuring dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned efficiently. This position requires the ability to work quickly, stay organized, and support the kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and assist with general kitchen cleaning duties. Restock clean dishes, utensils, and cookware to designated areas. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Work efficiently during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning and prep tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous dishwasher or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
