In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, supporting our culinary team to operate smoothly and efficiently. Your dedication to maintaining a spotless environment helps uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food service and kitchen operations while working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and dish racks Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishes and assisting with plate clearing during events Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet health and safety standards Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to support smooth restaurant operations Follow sanitation protocols diligently to uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining spaces Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and servers Experience with banquet or catering events is a plus but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety regulations Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your efforts directly contribute to memorable guest experiences!
