Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to a seamless dining experience while supporting culinary operations across various settings such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet halls. Your dedication helps create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests, ensuring every meal service runs smoothly. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and support food service operations Adhere to safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment operation to promote a safe work environment Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within hospitality or hotel environments is a plus Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guest service teams Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or during busy catering events Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate This role offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
