Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquets to maintain an organized workflow. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the hospitality setting. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
