Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Support the kitchen staff by clearing away used dishes during service. Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events. Follow proper sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Participate in cleaning tasks beyond dishwashing, including sweeping and mopping floors. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is beneficial. Experience in culinary settings or hotel kitchens will be considered an advantage. A willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen tasks is essential.
