Responsibilities Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to meet health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to promote a safe working environment Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and basic prep work when needed Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with culinary staff during busy service times to ensure smooth operation flow Follow all food handling regulations and safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health codes Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing, cleaning, or food handling is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Basic understanding of food safety practices; previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory Willingness to support various kitchen functions including food preparation and hospitality duties Embark on a rewarding journey where your efforts directly contribute to exceptional dining experiences.
