Role:
PrideStaff is partnering with a well-established hotel in Asheville seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join their food and beverage team as a Steward. This is an excellent opportunity for a hard worker with a positive attitude to be a vital part of a high-energy hospitality environment. What You Will Do:
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness by cleaning and properly storing all kitchen equipment (pots, pans, dishes, glassware, silverware). Operate and maintain the dish machine, ensuring the sink and pot areas are clean after every shift. Keep all kitchen and food/beverage areas clean through consistent mopping, sweeping, and general sanitation (including walls, ceilings, lights, and equipment). Empty and clean all garbage cans regularly. Assist with deliveries , including receiving, organizing, and ensuring the proper storage and rotation of inventory. Maintain the cleanliness and orderly fashion of rear receiving and trash areas.
What You Will Bring:
If you have these skills and characteristics, we want to hear from you! Ability to move consistently and lift at least 20 pounds during an 8-hour shift. A strong work ethic and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures . Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Reliable availability to work on weekends as part of the hotel's operational needs.
