Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a crucial part of our food service operation, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to maintain a high standard of hygiene and support our culinary staff. Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff to support meal service. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain an orderly dining environment. Ensure that all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly. Requirements Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential for success in this role.
