Job Description:
we have a vacant spot for a well-organized and committed dishwasher. Our culinary environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as part of a team. Your main duties will include rinsing, racking, washing, and properly storing dishes both in the dishwasher area and the three-bay sink, as well as keeping the floors and general kitchen area clean and presentable at all time. On occasion, you will be asked to assist with unloading delivery trucks, clean cook stations, kitchen appliances, and machines. Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management and communication skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks. You will be working in a kitchen for most of your workday. This means that you will also have to abide by food safety procedures and regulations.

The casual, vibrant and dynamic feel of those restaurants felt just right for the cozy space on East Franklin Street. Owned by Brandon and Elizabeth Sharp (who also have Hawthorne & Wood, a fine dining restaurant and bar, and Bluebird, a French bistro, both located in Chapel Hill), Proximo will be their first business in downtown Chapel Hill. Proximo's General Manager is El Faust. Neal Benefield will oversee the restaurant as Director of Operations.
