Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our culinary operations and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. In this vital role, you will handle dishwashing duties, assist with food preparation, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and commercial-grade dishwashers Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and menu standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and storage spaces by adhering to strict sanitation protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Support meal preparation activities by following recipe instructions accurately and ensuring timely service Follow food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks, report issues, and maintain a smooth workflow Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Prior food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food handling and safety standards Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation procedures in a commercial kitchen environment Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff Basic culinary skills including knife handling, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence Awareness of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Catering experience or serving background is a plus but not required Join our team where your energy fuels our success!
