Com Bright Penny is looking for bar back/dishwashers for our brewery! Applicants should be dependable, have reliable transportation, maintain a positive attitude and have a solid work ethic. No experience required. Successful candidates are positive, motivated, self motivated and ready for a fast-paced environment. Open availability to work nights, weekends and holidays is a must. The kitchen at Bright Penny is a fun, laid-back atmosphere where our goal is to have fun while serving our guests! Our goal and focus is to ensure we build a happy and eager team that is excited to come to work! - Completing opening, closing and side work assignments
- Operate low temperature commercial dish washer according to proper procedure
- Washing pots, pans and utensils in a 3-bay sink according to proper procedure
- Following proper sanitation practices at all times
- Providing assistance to prep cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, especially at peak times
- Rotating dishes to avoid overuse or excessive wear and tear
- Properly disposing of trash and recycling
- Clean dish storage, trash receptacles and any other cleaning required cleaning assignments
- Complete temperature logs for commercial dishwasher, 3-bay sink, etc.
- Organizing & Shelving beer or drinks
- Stocking glasses, napkins, silverware, etc.
- Prepare garnishes as instructed
- Replace kegs as needed
- Cleaning spills, messes and broken glassware promptly
- Removing trash, soiled dishes and sanitizing tables for new customers
- Assisting Bartender as instructed
